Mutton Curry Recipe
Ingredients:
Lamb meat cut into 1-inch cubes: 500gm
Onion (chopped): 1 Medium
Plain Yogurt: 1/4 Cup
Fresh Ginger: 1 inch finely chopped
Garlic: 3 Cloves crushed
Coriander Powder: 1 1/2 Tsp
Mustard Seeds: 1 Tsp
Cumin Powder: 1 1/2 Tsp
Chilli Powder: 1 Tsp
Turmeric Powder: 1 Tsp
Salt: Required Quantity
Vegetable Oil: 1/2 Tsp
Procedure:
Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add onion and heat over medium flame. Stir well until it becomes soft.
Add lamb meat, coriander, mustard seeds, cumin, chili powder and turmeric. Mix them well. Add little yogurt. Cook over high heat, stirring the meat until all the yogurt is absorbed. Pour little yogurt again, stir and make it dry. Repeat the process.
Add chopped ginger and garlic. Add enough water to cover the meat and boil. Cover the vessel and heat in low flame until the meat is cooked.
Remove the lid and cook the stew over high heat to evaporate excess liquid. Add enough salt and serve.
