To understand Bihar, he should have contested elections: BJP MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy on Prashant Kishor allegations

BJP MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy counters Prashant Kishor's poaching claims, says he should contest Bihar elections before commenting on state politics.

"To understand Bihar, he should have contested elections at least once and then commented on Bihar - Rajiv Pratap Rudy"

Patna, October 21

Expressing shock over the recent allegations made by Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor against the Bharatiya Janata Party, party MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy stressed that, in Bihar, he should have first contested elections.

"I am very shocked because people from outside always say that a big leader has emerged... To understand Bihar, he should have contested elections at least once and then commented on Bihar," Rudy told reporters.

Earlier today, Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party, accusing them of poaching leaders and pressuring his party's candidates to withdraw their nominations.

Speaking to reporters, Kishor alleged that there is no democracy or alliance left in Bihar, and three of his party's candidates have withdrawn their nominations under pressure from the BJP.

"We have seen a pattern in this country where, after elections, opposition MLAs are often poached, something the BJP has done multiple times across various states. Now, the same is happening in Bihar. There is no true alliance or democracy in play in Bihar right now. Jansuraaj's candidates are being systematically obstructed. Several of our candidates were stopped from even filing their nominations. So far, three of our candidates have been forced to withdraw their nominations under pressure," Kishor said.

The BJP MP also noted the "contradictions" involved in the Mahagathbandhan's election campaign, highlighting the weightage given to the NDA in the debate to choose between Nitish Kumar and Narendra Modi, or Lalu Yadav and Rahul Gandhi, for the people of Bihar.

"There are several contradictions there. Bihar is heading towards a serious debate - whether we should choose Nitish Kumar and Narendra Modi or Lalu Yadav and Rahul Gandhi. I think NDA has weightage in this debate. INDIA is demoralised," Rudy said.

Bihar will face polls in two phases on November 6 and 11 and the results will be declared on November 14.

Prashant Kishor's allegations are serious. If BJP is pressuring candidates to withdraw, that's against democratic principles. Elections should be fair for all parties. Bihar deserves better politics.

As someone observing Indian politics, I find this exchange fascinating. Both sides make valid points - experience matters, but so does fair play in elections. Hope Bihar voters get to choose freely without pressure tactics.

Ye sab neta log bas aapas mein ladte rehte hain. Bihar ke liye kaun kaam karta hai? Development ki baat karo, politics ki nahi. Common man ko rozgar aur bijli chahiye. 😒

Respectfully, Mr. Rudy's argument seems weak. Many political analysts understand ground realities without contesting elections. The real issue is whether democratic processes are being undermined, as Kishor claims.

Prashant Kishor has worked with multiple parties across India. He understands political dynamics better than many politicians. His allegations about candidate pressure need proper investigation. Democracy must be protected! 🇮🇳

Both NDA and INDIA alliance have their strengths and weaknesses. As a Bihari, I just want stable government and development. Hope whoever
