Interesting casting. I pictured Ledger a bit differently when reading the book, but Withers is talented enough to make it work. Hope they stay true to the novel's emotional core.

Withers is having a moment! Between this, the I Know What You Did Last Summer reboot, and the Jordan Peele project - dude's booked and busy. Good for him!

While I'm excited about the adaptation, I hope they don't water down the difficult themes from the book. Kenna's journey needs to be portrayed with all its complexity.

Vanessa Caswill directing gives me hope - she did great work on "Normal People." If anyone can capture that raw emotionality from Hoover's writing, it's her.
