Indian Army, Assam Rifles seize weapons and explosives in Manipur crackdown

Imphal, March 30: The Indian Army and Assam Rifles launched information-based operations in the Kangpokpi, Tengnoupal, Chandel, Senapati, Jiribam, and Bishnupur districts of Manipur between 26 March and 29 March, as per an official statement from the Ministry of Defence.

32 weapons, other ammunition seized in Manipur

Imphal, March 26: In a series of operations, the Indian Army, in a series of joint operations with the other security forces, have recovered 32 weapons, some improvised explosive devices, grenades, various other ammunition and war-like stores from various districts of Manipur, officials said on Wednesday.

Assam Rifles, other agencies seized 19 weapons in Manipur since Jan 6: Official

Kolkata, Jan 13: Continuing with their efforts to disarm people in strife-ridden Manipur, the Army and other security agencies in the state recovered 19 weapons, ammunition and other warlike stores over the last few days. An AK-56 rifle was among the weapons seized, the Army has said.
