Washington DC, March 27: Michael Caine, who played the role of Alfred in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, recalled the surprising transformation of late actor Heath Ledger for his iconic villainous character 'Joker', saying that he was terrified when he saw the actor for the first time in action on the sets, reported Variety.
