Thiruvananthapuram, January 8: V Narayanan was appointed as the new chief of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), on Wednesday, taking on a role he described as a great responsibility entrusted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Reflecting on ISRO's remarkable legacy since 1969, Narayanan honoured the leaders who shaped its journey, including Vikram Sarabhai and K. Sivan.
