Rajasthan: Mines Dept clocks 23.35 pc growth by registering record revenue of Rs 9202.50 cr
Jaipur, April 1: The Mines Department of Rajasthan has achieved a historic milestone by generating a record revenue of Rs 9202.50 crore in the financial year 2024-25, marking a 23.35 per cent growth compared to the previous year, said an official on Tuesday.

Jaipur, March 27: The Supreme Court (SC) has granted a two-month extension for minor mineral lease holders and quarry license holders in Rajasthan up to five hectares to obtain environmental clearance (EC) from the state-level committee.
Rajasthan govt to enhance drone-based mining practices
Jaipur, Jan 7: Experts will directly engage with mineral leaseholders in Rajasthan to introduce advanced drone techniques for volumetric assessment and mineral management in the mining sector. State Principal Secretary of Mines and Petroleum, T. Ravikant, announced that from April 1 all minor mineral leaseholders must conduct drone or aerial surveys of their lease areas, including a 100-metre buffer zone, and submit comprehensive reports.
