UAE marks Professional Day of Nuclear and Radiation Sector Workers
Abu Dhabi, February 16: The UAE today observed the Professional Day of the Nuclear and Radiation Sector Workers, which was approved by the UAE Cabinet in January 2023 to mark the anniversary of the 16th of February 2020, when the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) issued the licence to operate unit 1 of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant.
