Election office imposes curbs on political ads in print media on Delhi voting day
New Delhi, Jan 20: The Chief Electoral Officer, Delhi, has imposed curbs on political parties from publishing offending, uncertified advertisements in newspapers on the eve of voting and the voting day for the Assembly election scheduled on February 5, an official said on Monday.

New Delhi, January 20: Ahead of the February 5 Delhi assembly elections, Chief Electoral Officer of Delhi wrote to all national and state political parties, directing them and their candidates to not publish any advertisement in the print media on the poll day and one day before poll day in Delhi region.
MCD removes over 1.26 lakh posters, banners and flags ahead of Delhi assembly polls
New Delhi, January 8: In view of the model code of conduct (MCC) imposed after announcement of the assembly election in the national capital on Tuesday, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) on Wednesday said that it removed a total of 1.26 lakh of political advertisement including posters, banners, hoardings, wall paintings, signage, and flags from 12 zones of the city.
