Union Minister Gadkari approves Rs 1645.72 crore Vrindavan Bypass to ease Mathura traffic

New Delhi, April 5: Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Saturday announced the approval of a 15.34-kilometre-long, six-lane access-controlled Vrindavan Bypass project in Mathura district, Uttar Pradesh. The project, sanctioned at a cost of Rs1645.72 crore, is expected to significantly cut travel time and decongest traffic around the pilgrimage town of Vrindavan.

Rs 267 crore sanctioned for various road projects in Himachal Pradesh: Vikramaditya Singh

Shimla, April 3: Himachal Pradesh Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh on Thursday said that the Union Government has sanctioned Rs 267 crore for various projects, including national highways in Himachal Pradesh. He stated that a total capital expenditure request of Rs 1,400 crore was submitted to the Union Government for the financial year 2025-26, out of which Rs 267 crore was released in the first phase, an official statement from the Office of PWD minister said.
