Kohima, April 26: Nagaland Police in an advisory on Saturday said that through reliable sources it is learnt that after the Pahalgam terror attack inimical and anti national forces would use all tactics to encourage and spread misinformation and false propaganda aiming to disturb the peace and law and order in the country and also in the northeastern state.

Nagaland Wrestling Association to introduce 1st Women's Open Naga Wrestling Championship

Kohima, March 25: For the first time ever the Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) will introduce the first Women's Open Naga Wrestling Championship scheduled on March 28 at the 15th Edition of the Nagaland Wrestling Association Open Naga Wrestling Championship at Khuochiezie (Kohima Local Ground), Kohima. A total of 29 women will participate in the Wrestling Championship, an official from NWA confirmed ANI.

Raksha Khadse becomes first Union Minister to visit Noklak, Frontier District

Noklak, March 22: Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Raksha Nikhil Khadse, became the first minister to visit Noklak, Nagaland, one of the most remote districts in the country. During her visit, she was given a briefing on the district's development by the Deputy Commissioner of Noklak, Arikumba, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports said in a release on Saturday.

Govt, Naga groups to hold fresh formal talks soon: Officials

Kohima, Feb 21: Officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and the top leaders of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Isak-Muivah (NSCN-IM) held a meeting in Dimapur on Friday and decided to hold fresh formal talks between the government and the dominant Naga group soon, officials said.
