Telecom operators association COAI opposes Mumbai Metro's vendor-driven model for mobile services on Metro Line 3

New Delhi, April 21: The Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), representing India's leading telecom service providers - Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea - has strongly opposed in what it termed as "illegal and anti-consumer model" adopted by Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) for provisioning telecom infrastructure on Metro Line 3 (Colaba-Bandra-Aarey corridor).

MMRDA inks MoUs worth 3.5 lakh crores at Davos

Mumbai, Jan 23: The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) during its golden jubilee celebrations has signed 11 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth USD 40 billion (Rs 3.5 lakh crore) at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos in the presence of chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and Metropolitan Commissioner Sanjay Mukherjee.
