Taiwan detects 'massive' Chinese military presence in region

Taipei, March 18: Amid growing security concern and aggressive posturing of China, Taiwan stated on Tuesday that it has detected a number of Chinese aircraft and warships operating around the country over the past 24 hours that crossed the meridian line of the Taiwan Strait and entered air defence identification zone.

East Fuji, February 25: The 6th edition of the India-Japan joint military exercise, Dharma Guardian, began on February 24, 2025, at the East Fuji Training Area in Japan. This significant exercise marks a major milestone as it is being conducted at an enhanced scale, with the participation of troops expanded to a company-strength level for the first time since the inception of the exercise. This edition of the exercise, which is scheduled to run from February 24 to March 9, 2025, is set to include an expanded range of activities that reflect the growing defence cooperation between India and Japan.

Indo-Nepal joint exercise Surya Kiran showcases military cooperation

Saljhandi, January 6: The 18th Indo-Nepal Joint Military Exercise, Surya Kiran, is currently underway at Saljhandi in Nepal. Running from December 31 to January 13, the exercise strengthens the partnership between the Indian and Nepalese Armies, providing a platform for both to exchange best practices and sharpen operational skills.
