CAG recommends comprehensive strategy for solid waste management in Maharashtra

Mumbai, March 26: The Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG), in its report presented to the Maharashtra Assembly on Wednesday, expressed concern over waste management in urban areas and the poor performance of the Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) in collecting the solid waste management charges and undertaking steps for its improvement.
