Bhubaneswar, Feb 25: After a thrilling 2-2 draw, India grabbed the bonus point as they defeated the reigning champions and World Cup winners Netherlands 2-1 via a shootout in a Women's FIH Hockey Pro League match at the Kalinga Stadium here on Tuesday. Despite being two goals down, India made a remarkable comeback in the third quarter with goals coming from Deepika (35’) and Baljeet Kaur (43’). Captain Pien Sanders ( 17’) and Fay van der Elst (28’) scored for the Netherlands.

Deepika (12') was the sole goal scorer, ensuring India climbed to the seventh spot on the points table.

Bhubaneswar, Feb 18: Reigning World Champions Germany defeated India 4-1 in a high-octane encounter in the Men's FIH Hockey Pro League 2024-25 at the iconic Kalinga Hockey Stadium here on Tuesday. Florian Sperling (7'), Thies Prinz (14'), Michel Struthoff (48'), and Raphael Hartkopf (55') scored a goal each that helped Germany clinch the three points while Gurjant Singh (13') was the lone goal scorer for India.

2024 runner up Germany arrives in Bhubaneswar ahead of FIH Pro League matches

Bhubaneswar, Feb 10: The Germany Women's Hockey Team arrived at Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar, on Monday ahead of their FIH Hockey Pro League 2024/25 fixtures in India. Led by Co-Captains Linnea Wiedemann and Sarah Strauss, Germany will take on Spain on 15 and 16 February before facing hosts India on 21 and 22 February.
