'Recipe for ecological disaster': Jairam Ramesh praises scientists' body for opposing Great Nicobar project
New Delhi, March 22: Congress leader and former Union Environment and Forest Minister Jairam Ramesh has expressed his support for a scientists' body that has come out against the Great Nicobar mega infra project, warning how it could irreversibly disrupt the island's unique ecosystem and impact its flora and fauna, especially the long-tailed macaque.
