Pune to host Billie Jean King Cup Asia-Oceania Group-1 tournament
Pune, March 24: Pune will host the prestigious Billie Jean King Cup Asia-Oceania Group-1 tournament for the first time in tennis history of the country, while Maharashtra will be hosting the event after a gap of 25 years from April 8 to 12 at the Mhalunge Balewadi Tennis Complex.

WADA says, will not appeal against Iga Swiatek's doping ban
Montreal, Jan 20: The World Anti-Doping Agency has said that it will not appeal against the sanctions imposed on Polish tennis player Iga Swiatek, who tested positive for a prohibited substance in August 2024. Last year, on November 28, Swiatek accepted a one-month suspension under the Tennis Anti-Doping Programme, after testing positive for the prohibited substance trimetazidine (TMZ) in an out-of-competition sample in August 2024.
