India extends support to its citizen detained in Qatar
New Delhi, March 23: India is extending all possible assistance to Amit Gupta, an Indian citizen from Gujarat's Vadodara, who has been wrongfully detained in Qatar for allegedly stealing data for which there is an ongoing investigation, people familiar with the matter said.

New Delhi, March 23: An Indian national Amit Gupta has been detained by Qatari authorities, the sources said on Saturday adding that Indian Embassy is closely monitoring the situation and has been in touch with the authorities on a regular basis.
