32 weapons, other ammunition seized in Manipur

Imphal, March 26: In a series of operations, the Indian Army, in a series of joint operations with the other security forces, have recovered 32 weapons, some improvised explosive devices, grenades, various other ammunition and war-like stores from various districts of Manipur, officials said on Wednesday.

Kohima, March 26: In a series of operations, the Indian Army and Assam Rifles formations, under the Spear Corps, undertook information based joint operations in the Kakching, Imphal West, Imphal East, Senapati and Bishnupur districts of Manipur resulting in recovery of 32 weapons, ammunition and other war-like stores, according to an official press release.

Indian Army organises special cataract eye surgery camp for ex-servicemen and others

New Delhi, March 22: A special cataract eye surgery camp is being held at 158 Base Hospital, Bengdubi Military Station. The camp was inaugurated by Lt Gen RC Tiwari, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Command, on March 20 and is set to "restore vision" for over 350 veterans, dependents, and select civilians, Ministry of Defence said in an official statement.
