Uttarakhand govt working to boost horticulture, floriculture: Dhami

Dehradun, March 8: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday reviewed various flower species at his residence complex, including tulips, which he had personally planted a few days ago and underscored the state government's focus on promoting horticulture and floriculture as a key sector for economic growth.

ICAR-IIHR to be granted deemed university status: Kumaraswamy

Bengaluru, March 1: Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel H.D. Kumaraswamy on Saturday announced that he would soon discuss granting deemed university status to the Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (ICAR-IIHR), Hesaraghatta in Bengaluru with Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Delhi L-G inaugurates NDMC Tulip Festival-2025

New Delhi, Feb 11: The New Delhi Municipal Council Tulip Festival – 2025 was on Tuesday inaugurated by Delhi Lieutenant Governor V. K.Saxena and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Netherlands Marisa Gerards at Shanti Path, Chanakyapuri. The two also participated in a Tulip walk and visited a Tulip exhibition.
