Strategic partners India and Thailand set to chart future-oriented, mutually-beneficial path

Bangkok, April 4: Elevating existing bilateral relations to a Strategic Partnership, India and Thailand will work on strengthening the existing mechanisms of defence cooperation, as well as to promote further collaboration between the defence sectors of the two countries, with particular emphasis on defence technology, defence industry, research, training, exchanges, exercises and capacity building including by establishing appropriate mechanisms.

East Fuji, February 25: The 6th edition of the India-Japan joint military exercise, Dharma Guardian, began on February 24, 2025, at the East Fuji Training Area in Japan. This significant exercise marks a major milestone as it is being conducted at an enhanced scale, with the participation of troops expanded to a company-strength level for the first time since the inception of the exercise. This edition of the exercise, which is scheduled to run from February 24 to March 9, 2025, is set to include an expanded range of activities that reflect the growing defence cooperation between India and Japan.

India, Indonesia boost defence cooperation with DCA ratification, cadet exchanges between Naval Academies

New Delhi, January 26: India and Indonesia have taken a significant step forward in their strategic partnership, strengthening defence and maritime cooperation through key agreements and initiatives. The two nations reaffirmed their commitment to deepening ties with the ratification of the Defence Cooperation Agreement (DCA) and agreed to enhance collaboration through cadet exchanges between their Naval Academies.
