Union Minister C.R. Patil chairs 14th ETF meeting on Ganga conservation

New Delhi, March 12: Union Minister of Jal Shakti C.R. Patil chaired the 14th meeting of the Empowered Task Force (ETF) on Ganga conservation, reaffirming the government's commitment to making the river cleaner and more sustainable through an integrated and technology-driven approach, a release from Ministry of Jal Shakti said.

'Rs 9.91crore spent in Gujarat's Tapi under CAMPA project in two years'

Gandhinagar, March 12: The Gujarat Minister of State for Forest and Environment, Mukesh Patel, said on Tuesday in the Assembly that reforestation work covering 855 hectares in Tapi district has been carried out under the Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (CAMPA) scheme over the past two years at a cost of Rs 9.91 crore.
