Northern businesses offered compensations for employees missing work due to war

Tel Aviv, March 10: Starting on Monday, business owners from communities evacuated due to the war, business owners in the northern confrontation line area, business owners in the northern Golan Heights defence area, and business owners in additional communities that appear on a list published on the Israel Tax Authority website, will be able to file a claim for compensation in the salary track for the months of November-December 2024.

Rs 1,333.62 crore aid given to farmers for crop loss in 2024: Gujarat Minister

Gandhinagar, March 7: The Gujarat government has provided Rs 1,333.62 crore in assistance to farmers affected by crop damage in 2024 under the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF). Over the past five years, a total of Rs 7,802.4 crore has been allocated, with Rs 5,852.8 crore contributed by the central government (75 per cent) and Rs 1,949.6 crore by the state government (25 per cent).

HC summons Bengal Home Secy over govt's 'non-cooperation' with panel on chit funds

Kolkata, Feb 13: The Calcutta High Court on Thursday summoned West Bengal Home Secretary Nandini Chakraborty to be present in the court next week and clarify the state government's points in a case related to the state's alleged non-cooperation with a committee formed to ensure compensation for the victims losing money after investing in the deposit schemes of chit fund entities in the state.
