KCBC supports Waqf Amendment Bill as Christian fishermen in Munambam face eviction: BJP's KVS Haridas
Kochi, April 1: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson KVS Haridas on Monday said that the Kerala Catholic Bishops' Council (KCBC) has come out in support of the Waqf Amendment Bill, after seeing the plight of Christian fishermen in Munambam in Ernakulam district, who are facing eviction after the State Waqf board claimed their lands where they have been living for decades.
