Kochi, January 5: French Naval ships FS Forbin and FS Alsace, part of the French Carrier Strike Group, have arrived in Kerala's Kochi. The visit would enhance interoperability, foster mutual understanding and strengthen collaboration between the two navies.
Vasco De Gama, December 5: French Navy aircraft carrier Charles De Gaulle arrived at Goa's Mormugao port trust jetty on January 4. On arrival at Goa, the French Carrier Strike Group received a ceremonial welcome from the Indian Navy band.
Panaji, January 4: Deployed in the Indian Ocean as part of Mission Clemenceau 25, the French carrier strike group (CSG), comprising the aircraft carrier FNS Charles De Gaulle, its embarked air fleet and its escort vessels (frigates and supply ships), will be making stopovers at Goa and Kochi from January 4, a statement by the French Embassy in India said.
