UN Security Council condemns attack on peacekeeping mission in Central African Republic
New York, March 31: The United Nations Security Council has strongly condemned the recent attack on the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilisation Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) in the village of Tabani, located 24 kilometres west of Zemio in the Haut-Mbomou prefecture, which resulted in the death of a Kenyan peacekeeper.
Cambodia sends 355 peacekeepers to South Sudan, Central African Republic, Lebanon
Phnom Penh, Feb 5: Cambodia on Wednesday dispatched new batches of 355 peacekeepers, including 86 women, to join United Nations (UN) peacekeeping operations in South Sudan, the Central African Republic (CAR) and Lebanon, officials said.
