BSF Meghalaya foils cattle smuggling attempt, apprehends 5 near Bangladesh border
Shillong, March 26: The Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya thwarted an attempt to smuggle 22 buffaloes into Bangladesh and apprehended five Indian nationals near the international border in the West Jaintia Hills District, according to an official statement from the Border Security Forces.

Kolkata, Feb 12: The Border Security Force (BSF) said on Wednesday that a major cattle smuggling racket in the Malda district of West Bengal has been busted in which miscreants posed as BSF personnel to cross the Indo-Bangladesh Border (IBB). Three Indian cattle smugglers, clad in BSF fatigued, were arrested with two buffaloes.
