HIL 2024-25: Team Gonasika come back to beat Tamil Nadu Dragons 4-2

Rourkela, Jan 25: Team Gonasika put on an impressive performance to defeat the Tamil Nadu Dragons 4-2 in a Pool B match of the Men’s Hockey India League 2024-25, held at the Birsa Munda Stadium here on Saturday. Gonasika’s goals came from Araijeet Singh Hundal (14’), Jack Waller (45’), Tim Howard (50’), and Chandanda Nikkin Thimmaiah (51’), while Amit Rohidas (8’) and Tom Craig (56’) found the net for the Dragons.

HIL 2024-25: Spirited UP Rudras win 3-1 against Delhi SG Pipers

Rourkela, Jan 11: UP Rudras notched up an important 3-1 win against Delhi SG Pipers here at the ongoing Men's Hockey India League (HIL) 2024-25 at the Birsa Munda Stadium on Saturday. Goals by Floris Wortelboer (30'), Kane Russell (43'), and Tanguy Cosyns (54') helped them bag three points and climb up to No.2 on the points table while Jake Whetton (29') was the lone goalscorer for Delhi SG Pipers who are yet to register an outright victory in the league.

HIL 2024-25: Hyderabad Toofans secure sudden death win over Soorma Hockey Club

Rourkela, Jan 11: Hyderabad Toofans beat Soorma Hockey Club 1-1 (4-3 SO) in penalty shootouts in the Hockey India League 2024-25 at the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium here on Saturday. Nicolas Della Torre (8’) powered Soorma Hockey Club into the lead in the first quarter but Amandeep Lakra (40’) pulled the Hyderabad Toofans back onto level terms with a fierce drag flick. And Dominic Dixson’s heroics in sudden death secured the bonus point for Hyderabad Toofans.
