Vienna, January 5: Austria's ruling conservatives on Sunday appointed Christian Stocker, the secretary-general of the Austrian People's Party (OVP), as their interim leader after former Chancellor Karl Nehammer stepped down following the collapse of coalition talks, Al Jazeera reported citing local media.
