Tel Aviv, January 22: H5N1 bird flu was diagnosed in a flock of turkeys at Kibbutz Tzora in the Mateh Yehuda Regional Council. Following an unusual mortality of approximately 19,300 turkeys, aged 6.7 weeks, in four chicken coops, samples were sent to the laboratories of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, which confirmed the suspicion.

Tel Aviv, January 15: H5N1 bird flu was diagnosed in a flock of turkeys in Nahalal in the Jezreel Valley. Following an unusual mortality of approximately 24,000 turkeys, before marketing at the age of 16 weeks, in five poultry houses, samples were sent to the laboratories of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, which confirmed the suspicion.
Israel: Avian flu outbreak detected in Kibbutz
Tel Aviv, January 12: Israel's Ministry of Agriculture and Food Safety reported that H5N1 avian influenza has been diagnosed in a fattening turkey coop in Kibbutz Tzora in the Judea region. Following an unusual mortality in three pre-market turkey coops, at 9.4 weeks of age, samples sent to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Safety laboratories confirmed the suspicion. This is the 13th case of avian influenza diagnosed in commercial poultry farms this flu season.
