This is such a wonderful tribute to Raja Sahib! He truly dedicated his life to Himachal Pradesh. The Ridge is the perfect location for his statue - visible to all who visit Shimla. 🙏

While I respect Virbhadra Singh's contributions, I wonder if the funds could have been better used for actual welfare projects rather than a statue. The foundation's stated purpose is welfare work after all.

My grandfather used to tell me stories about how Raja Sahib would personally visit remote villages to solve people's problems. He was a true people's leader. The statue will help younger generations remember his legacy.

The Ridge is already quite crowded with statues and structures. I hope the new installation won't disrupt the beautiful open space that makes Shimla special. Maybe they could consider alternative locations?

It's good that they're using public donations rather than government funds for this. Hope the foundation continues its welfare work alongside this memorial project.
