This development comes after Chadha raised concerns over expensive food and beverages at airports during the winter session of Parliament.

Chadha had highlighted the issue of overpriced food items, citing examples like water bottles costing Rs 100 and tea priced at Rs 200-250. He had asked the government to introduce affordable canteens at airports.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation has since launched the Udaan Yatri Cafe as a pilot project, offering affordable food options to travellers.
The union government took his demand seriously and introduced the 'Udaan Yatri Cafe', which was first inaugurated at Kolkata's Dum Dum Airport.
