"I thank you all for coming to my residence. It is said in our scriptures that when guests come to a house, the house becomes pure, so I welcome you all," PM Modi said, interacting with the beneficiaries.

PM Modi said that Rs 33 lakh crore has been given to the people of the country without any guarantee.

"You read in the newspaper that this is a government of the rich. Even if you add up the total of all the rich, they would not have received 33 lakh rupees. 33 lakh crore rupees have been given to the common man of the country...Today the youth of India, the entrepreneurial skills they have, if they get a little help, then very big results are achieved. This Mudra Yojana is an eye-opener for any government. The maximum number of women have come forward in this," he added.

The Prime Minister said that the Mudra scheme is not for "Modi's praises."

"This scheme is to give courage to the youth of my country to stand on their own feet," he added.

PM Modi said that among all these beneficiaries, some have provided employment to one, some to 2, and some to 40-50 people.

"This massive task of providing employment generates the economy. In the Mudra scheme, the highest number of women have come forward. Women have applied for the most loans, received the most loans, and are also the fastest to repay them," the PM asserted.

During the interaction, the beneficiaries shared insights on how this scheme has transformed their lives.

During the interaction, an entrepreneur from Kerala, who had been working in the UAE, revealed how the MUDRA Yojana has benefited him, saying, "it had transformed him into a successful entrepreneur."

The Prime Minister asked him if his mother was upset about him moving back to India, to which the entrepreneur said that "everything went well in the end."

PM Modi in a post on X, said that the Mudra Yojana has given opportunities to countless people to showcase their entrepreneurial skills.

"Interacted with some of the beneficiaries of the scheme. Their journey is inspiring," he posted on X with a video interacting with beneficiaries at his residence in the national capital.

Today, India marks 10 years of the Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana (PMMY). PMMY, the Flagship Programme of the Prime Minister, aimed at funding the Unfunded micro enterprises and small businesses. By removing the burden of collateral and simplifying access, MUDRA laid the foundation for a new era of grassroots entrepreneurship.

Since its launch in April 2015, the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana has sanctioned over 52 crore loans worth Rs 32.61 lakh crore, fuelling a nationwide entrepreneurial revolution.

This scheme truly empowered my sister to start her tailoring business. No collateral, just trust in people's potential. More such initiatives needed! 👏

As a woman entrepreneur, I can vouch for how Mudra loans changed my life. Started with ₹50k, now employ 8 women in my catering business. The repayment process is also very flexible.

While the intent is good, the ground reality is different in some areas. Banks still ask for unofficial 'charges' to process these loans. Hope the system becomes more transparent.

My son used this to start his mobile repair shop. No family money, no connections - just a good idea and hard work. Proud to see him employ 3 others now! 🇮🇳

52 crore loans is an incredible number! Shows what happens when you trust common people rather than just big corporations. The Kerala entrepreneur's story is particularly inspiring.

The women repayment rate says everything! We just need opportunity, not charity. Started my organic farm with Mudra loan, now supplying to local stores. More power to such schemes 💪
