Speaking at the Goyal TV9 Global Summit the Minister said, "What India thinks today, the world will think tomorrow. The government has faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi."

Speaking on tariffs being imposed by the Donald Trump administration, Goyal said that India and US were not in competition, but can provide directions to the world together. He added that the strengths of India bring as much to the table as the US does with its high-tech innovations.

"I want to say there is friendship between PM Modi and Trump. Trump has said in a presser that he considers PM Modi a close friend. They welcomed PM Modi in Washington. India and the USA are not in competition but can join hands to give new directions to the world. After all, the strengths we have, including young people, bring as much to the table as the US does with its high-tech innovation. India and the US together are a force multiplier," the Union Minister said.

Goyal highlighted that India produced the most Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) graduates in the world and around 43 per cent of them are women. He said that the democracy, rule of law and independent judiciary encourages investments and partnerships in the country.

"India creates the most STEM graduates in the world, where 43 per cent of them are girls. This power of India attracts the world towards us. PM Modi is providing us with decisive representation. The youth will also contribute to the world economy. Our democracy and rule of law will also encourage partnership. People know to invest and trade in India since there is law and order here," the Union Minister said.

He said that the rule of law and judiciary which remain independent doesn't allow injustice and discrimination, which was recognised by the developed countries allowing them to maintain economic relations with India.

"We have an independent judiciary, which would not allow injustice and discrimination to happen. This is the power of India that is recognised by developed countries. They want to maintain economic relations with India. I thank PM Modi for the same. The confidence he has created is our power," Goyal added.

Finally someone acknowledging our STEM graduates! Those 43% women engineers deserve this recognition 👏

Not convinced about the "force multiplier" claim. US tariffs still hurt our exporters - diplomacy needs concrete actions not just words.

Modi-Trump chemistry is real! Remember how Trump hugged our PM at Houston? That energy translates to better trade deals 💪

Neha P.

The STEM stat blew my mind! We're producing more female engineers than most countries produce total graduates. Future looks bright!

Goyal makes valid points but I wish he addressed how small businesses will cope with actual tariff impacts. Big picture is good, but details matter too.
