The festivities kicked off with an incredible performance by two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster, who captivated guests at the Royal Court Theatre on Queen Anne. This Broadway legend will also headline a special engagement aboard Queen Elizabeth during her Caribbean season, which promises to showcase additional Broadway talent throughout the voyages.
Sutton Foster expressed her excitement, stating, "It was a true honor to perform on board Queen Anne during her first visit to Miami. I am thrilled about the opportunity to sail and perform on board Queen Elizabeth during her inaugural Caribbean season. For Cunard enthusiasts eager to explore the Caribbean from Miami, Queen Elizabeth will introduce several new offerings starting October 16. The ship, which accommodates 2,000 guests, will undergo a significant refit in Singapore from February 25 to March 13, 2025. The inaugural Caribbean season will feature a 12-night roundtrip sailing from Miami, allowing guests to visit stunning destinations such as Bridgetown and Castries.
Queen Elizabeth's dedicated program of roundtrip Caribbean voyages will range from nine to 28 nights, visiting iconic locations like Montego Bay, San Juan, and St John's. The ship's transformation will include refreshed interiors and exteriors designed for tranquility and vibrancy. Signature spaces like the Commodore Club, Queens Room, and Garden Lounge will be revitalized to enhance guests' experiences.
Cunard is also placing an emphasis on wellness with the introduction of The Pavilion wellness café on Queen Elizabeth. This venue will serve plant-based cuisine alongside sustainably sourced options for breakfast and lunch. Guests can also enjoy the Harper's Bazaar Wellness at Sea program, featuring three-day spa packages tailored for relaxation and rejuvenation.
