CM Yogi Adityanath arrived in Prayagraj by helicopter and headed straight to the Sangam Nose site, where an unfortunate incident of stampede recently happened.

Upon arrival, he inspected the area and received a detailed briefing from Mela Officer Vijay Kiran Anand and DIG Vaibhav Krishna about the incident.

The Mela Officer apprised him about the swift transportation of the injured to the hospital following the incident.

The Chief Minister then turned his focus to preparations for the upcoming Basant Panchami Amrit Snan. He also issued necessary guidelines to ensure smooth and safe arrangements for the forthcoming event.

During his visit, CM Yogi also took time to interact with thousands of devotees present at the site.

He personally checked on their well-being, making his way through the barricades to greet the crowd.

Devotees warmly welcomed him with chants of "Har Har Mahadev", "Jai Shri Ram", and "Jai Ganga Maiya", expressing their appreciation for the excellent facilities and arrangements made for the Mahakumbh Mela.
