While I respect his contributions, I always felt his later films became too preachy about patriotism. But no denying his early work was gold - Shaheed remains a masterpiece!

My father used to imitate his signature style - the hand on chest during emotional scenes. Manoj Kumar represented the best of Bollywood's golden era. Gone but never forgotten ❤️

The Bharat Kumar title suited him perfectly. His films made us proud to be Indian at a time when the country needed that message most. The new generation should study his work.
