Governor of Karnataka, Thaawarchand Gehlot, on Sunday flagged off a delegation to participate in the prestigious "Leadership Summit-2024" in London.

The event aims to bring together thought leaders, media professionals, and dignitaries from across the world to discuss global leadership trends and foster cross-cultural exchanges. The flag-off ceremony took place at Raj Bhavan, Karnataka.

They are instrumental in strengthening democracy."

"These media organizations effectively highlight public issues, social concerns, economic challenges, and matters of national and international importance, thereby keeping the public well-informed," the Governor said.

He further commended the ongoing efforts of the media houses to foster social equality and harmony by engaging millions of people through various initiatives. "The London Leadership Summit is a unique platform that not only acknowledges the talents of Karnataka but also offers an opportunity to showcase India's rich culture and heritage while engaging with global perspectives," the Governor added.

The Governor further stressed the importance of collective efforts in nation-building, stating, "As our country rapidly progresses towards becoming a developed nation, everyone must participate in bringing India to the forefront of global development in the years to come."
