Punjab will emerge as a digital hub: CM

During a meeting with Daniel Julien, Chairman and CEO of Teleperformance (TP), a global leader for outsourced digital business services, the Chief Minister highlighted the immense potential of Punjab in this vast sector. He appreciated that Teleperformance has over 16,000 employees in Mohali and urged Julien to consider Punjab for further thrust and expansion, which Julien accepted. Mann expressed great pride and satisfaction in Teleperformance's leading clients from various industries, including travel, e-commerce, technology, media, and telecom, served from its three sites in Mohali. He emphasized that Mohali is emerging as an IT destination in India and noted that Teleperformance is the leading global provider of outsourced digital business services, boasting over 500,000 employees worldwide across 100 countries. The Chief Minister assured full support and cooperation to the company for its future endeavors and expansion plans in the state. He expressed hope that further expansion by the Teleperformance group would accelerate development while providing jobs for the youth. Meanwhile, Julien thanked the Chief Minister for extending full support to their venture in the state. With 90,000 employees currently, TP India represents the largest multicultural team within the Teleperformance group and provides world-class customer experience (CX) services to over 200 clients across different industries worldwide. Julien explained that the company's 'high-tech, high-touch, high standard' approach combines advanced digital and technology solutions with human empathy to deliver seamless customer experience, back-office, and transformation services to the world's leading brands. He noted that Teleperformance has significantly grown in Mohali, generating substantial employment opportunities for the regional talent pool with a current employee strength of over 16,000.
