ISRO launches special campaign 4.0 to boost cleanliness and clear pending tasks across space department

Bengaluru, October 7

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has kicked off its Special Campaign 4.0 as part of a larger government initiative aimed at improving cleanliness and clearing pending tasks.

The campaign started from October 2 to October 31, 2024, and involved all offices under the Department of Space (DOS), including autonomous bodies and public sector enterprises (PSEs).

ISRO on Monday via a tweet said,"ISRO HQ in Bengaluru kickstarted #SpecialCampaign4 with impactful activities! Now, from 2nd to 31st October 2024, the Department of Space and its attached offices, including autonomous bodies and PSEs, are gearing up for Special Campaign 4.0. Focused on enhancing cleanliness and clearing pending references, this campaign follows the success of the past 3 years, aligning with guidelines from the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances [DARPG]. Let's make it a success! #SwachhBharat #SwachhataHiSeva."

In a press release, ISRO had earlier highlighted the importance of this initiative, noting that Special Campaign 4.0 follows three successful campaigns in previous years.

"The Department of Space and it's all attached/subordinate offices including Autonomous bodies/PSEs under the administrative control of DOS have initiated efforts and prepared action plans to make the campaign successful as per the guidelines issued by Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances [DARPG], Government of India," the release said.

To ensure smooth execution, Nodal Officers have been appointed, and meetings have been held at every level to plan and implement the campaign. Activities during the campaign will follow the guidelines set by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG).
