Shahid in cop avtar: His look from 'Deva' unveiled

ollywood actor Shahid Kapoor, who is known for films like ‘Kabir Singh’, ‘Jab We Met’, ‘Haider’, ‘Udta Punjab’ and others, has shared his look from his upcoming film titled ‘Deva’. In the film, Shahid shares the screen with actress Pooja Hegde, who was most recently seen in the Salman Khan-starrer ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’.

On Tuesday, Shahid took to Instagram to share his character’s look from ‘Deva’. In the picture, Shahid steals the show as he dons a crisp white shirt, paired with khaki pants. He sports short hair and a bearded face, and accessorises his look with a pair of black sunglasses. He also holds a gun with the arms resting on his thigh as he gives an intense look while looking up.

The actor also announced the release date of his film as he wrote in the caption: “‘Deva’ in theatres on Dussehra October 11 2024. #HappyDussehra.”

As per the makers, the film follows a brilliant yet rebellious police officer investigating a high-profile case. As he delves deeper into the case, he uncovers a web of deceit and betrayal, leading him down a thrilling and dangerous path.

Director Rosshan Andrrews shared his vision for the film: “I am honoured to be directing ‘Deva’ and I am eager to bring this thrilling story to the screen. With Shahid Kapoor's exceptional talent and the combined efforts of our fantastic team, I am confident that ‘Deva’ will give a different cinematic experience.”

Produced by Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films, ‘Deva’ has gone into production and is scheduled to release worldwide on October 11, 2024.
