Which HiPP formula to choose?

iPP was founded at the end of 19 by Joseph Hipp. Today it is one of the most famous baby food brands in the world with the widest assortment of the most diverse products for the nutrition of children of different ages.

The company has several subsidiaries scattered around the world. They are HiPP Dutch, HiPP UK, and HiPP Germany. The point is that HiPP tries to create the formula that fits each market.

Countries have different requirements for certain ingredients to be in the content. The main difference between Dutch, UK, and German formulas is the presence of probiotics and starch in them.

Probiotics

The benefits of the addition of probiotics in the contents of formula have been proven in modern scientific research.

They contribute to the normalization of the intestinal microflora composition, comfortable digestion, and thereby improve the health of children.

Probiotics are added to baby food to balance the gut flora and suppress the growth of harmful organisms that can cause infections and inflammatory reactions. HiPP includes probiotics just like the ones found in breastmilk. However, the formulas that contain probiotics are HiPP Dutch Stage 1, HiPP Dutch Stage 2, and the German HiPP Combiotic.

Starch

It is the main plant polysaccharide carbohydrate found in cereals, legumes, and fruits.

Once in the human organism, it turns into glucose which is the most important energy source. However, some parents prefer to avoid starch in the formula contents because it could be difficult for the immature organism to digest it, but the kid's gut has a high tolerance for starch.

What's even more, it can be found in many foods in our homes. Starch is not added to Dutch and UK formulas, but it is found in German Stages 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3 Combiotic.

Even though each HiPP formula differs in contents, you can be absolutely sure that the brand provides you with products of high organic quality for all ages and peculiarities of development.
