T

he Honor Society Museum, which is sponsored by The Honor Society Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3), is offering free, virtual tours to provide an educational opportunity during the collective COVID-19 stay-at-home order.

The Honor Society Foundation funds and administers higher-education scholarships and educational programming for HonorSociety.org high achievers, but it has also made this virtual viewing possible. This highlights that the foundation is committed to preserving history, but also preserving education during the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Honor Society Museum takes visitors on a journey from the 1700's through the present meaning of what honor societies stand for. Through donations to the Honor Society Foundation, these priceless, historical items were acquired and preserved with care. The Honor Society Museum is dedicated to enhancing the illustrious 200+ year history of honor societies.

The ability to couple the rich history of older, more traditional honor societies with the modern technology and reach of today provides an endless network of leadership opportunities, camaraderie and fostered growth. From Daguerreotypes and society keys to a 1794 Dartmouth handwritten letter referencing the school's honor society chapter, the Honor Society Museum offers insight into the awards and accolades of the leaders of the past so that the leaders of tomorrow may learn these valuable lessons--and keep the tradition of excellence moving forward.
