McDonald's Adds Postmates as McDelivery Partner in Los Angeles and Dallas

cDonald's USA announced a new partnership to make McDelivery available on Postmates in more than 300 restaurants in the Los Angeles and Dallas areas starting this week.
As customers demand more convenience, McDonald's restaurants around the world are working with multiple partners to support the growth of McDelivery, said Bud Lord, Senior Director of U.S. Delivery for McDonald's. Adding Postmates to McDelivery in Los Angeles and Dallas makes it even easier for customers to enjoy their favorite menu items, like a Big Mac, Chicken McNuggets and our World Famous Fries, on their terms.
Postmates is a leader in on-demand delivery and holds the number one market share in Los Angeles - double its next closest competitor. The company operates in more than 4,200 cities, serving all 50 states and 80% of U.S. households.

McDelivery launched in the U.S. in 2017, and is now in over 10,000 U.S. restaurants, many of which now work with multiple delivery partners. The addition of new delivery partners drove incremental orders nationwide in the fourth quarter of 2019. Globally, delivery is in nearly 25,000 restaurants and contributed over $4 billion in sales for both McDonald's and its franchise restaurants in 2019.
