"A passenger travelling on SpiceJet flight SG-88, operating between Bangkok and Delhi, was suspected of coronavirus infection," SpiceJet spokesperson said.

He was seated on seat No. 31F and was the only passenger in that row, and was quarantined by the Airport Health Organisation after landing in Delhi.

The virus, which is of the same genre as SARS that broke out in 2003, was first reported in the WHO Disease Outbreak news on January 5, 2020. It has progressively spread across many countries from its epicentre in Wuhan, China.
