Given by the International Association of Consulting Actuaries (IACA), a section of the International Actuarial Association which is the worldwide association of professional actuarial associations, the award recognizes a young consulting actuary for their significant contributions to the public and actuarial profession.
Awarded every two years, the intent of this recognition is to bring to the consulting actuarial profession into the public domain and to encourage the successful development of consulting actuarial practices and actuarial literature.
Mr. Clark, who heads River and Mercantile's operations in the west as well as business development for the US Solutions business, also serves as the President of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries (CCA). A sought-after speaker and expert on pension related issues, he is experienced in all aspects of financial risk management for defined benefit plans as well as retiree medical plans and defined contribution plans.
