48North Cannabis Corp. (48North or the Company) (TSXV:NRTH), today announced the appointment of Charles Vennat to the Company's Board of Directors.
In addition, 48North announced the departure of Alison Gordon from the Company's Board.
On behalf of 48North's Board of Directors I would like to thank Alison for her leadership during her time at the Company. During her tenure, we introduced 48North's initial suite of cannabis products to the recreational marketplace, opened one of the world's largest licensed outdoor cannabis operations, raised significant capital and built a strong brand, said Martin Cauchon, Chair of 48North's Board of Directors.
It is my pleasure to welcome Charles, currently serving as CEO, to the Board. Since joining the Company Charles has effectively made operational improvements, accelerated the company's commercialization activities, and successfully launched 48North's next-generation cannabis products, continued Martin.
The changes to the Company's Board of Directors are effective immediately.
