Kullu

Kullu is located on the banks of the Beas River in the Kullu Valley. It is a congregation point of streams and valleys.

The major tributary Sar-vari has created the less explored and steeper Lug-valley on the west. The village-temples of Bijli Mahadev, Mount Nag and Pueed lie on the east of Kullu.

To Reach

By Air: The airport at Bhuntar is the nearest.

By Rail: The nearest narrow gauge railhead is at Jogindernagar (135 km). The nearest broad gauge raiheads are at Chandigarh (310 km), and Ambala (355 km).

By Road: From Simla, Chandigarh and Delhi, luxury buses run by Himachal Tourism regularly ply to Manali.
